one way to do it would be to give everyone three ribbons, while you have any of you three ribbons left you can grab one ribbon from anyone you tag. if you lose all your ribbons you are out and have to go commiserate yourself in an arranged pub. The person who has taken the most number of ribbons at the end of the game wins. you would have to have a rule that you can't take two ribbons of the same person consecutively to stop someone nicking all of them at once.
