    and paradoxically, this 'board' has far more chat about riding than most, the key to it being that most of the longstanding members actually know each other and ride regularly.

    in fact, it's much more of a cycling club than a forum, fulfilling a social function too. which explains why members get a bit prickly, defensive, guarded at times, and also share in-jokes and off topic conversations.

    talking about bike shops and discussing colourschemes are pretty important topics. lose the attitude and fuck off.

    I can't be bothered to post a picture of a handbag but you get the idea.
    Anyway, on reflection I was probably in the wrong so I apologise for the sweeping generalisations. Funny that you're telling me to fuck off though and yet it's me with the attitude.
