Just in case you're worried about getting schooled by decrepit looking old men, Audax UK also run an award for the youngest rider to complete a 200k solo (i.e. on their own bike rather than on a tandem). In 1982 the award was won by an eight year old.
Who wants to be his bike was heavier than yours?
