Single or double straps

i've always used single toshi straps when not riding clipless but am going to put clips and staps on my new build. for those of you who have used both single and doubles...is there any noticeable benefit to doubles?

double straps are faster but more expensive.

the benefit of doubles is that your foot doesn't swivel around at all.

i prefer doubles, i think singles look cooler though, contrary to popular fashion expectations.

I prefer double they feel more secure. I think double straps look nicer to.

toshis are wicked but i'm still embarassed to have spunked so much cash on toe straps

ace, i'm onto it. prob stick with double toshis. the singles have been good to me.

odge at fgl makes double leather straps. I got a piar they are great but maybe check before you get them if ya do.
I don't think i could bring my self to spend £60 on a pair of toe straps.

TFG sells them at like 50 i think . . .

Im looking to produce a larger quantity, still hand crafted, new design, so hopefully a drop in price. My wish is for everyone riding pedals and clips to be equipped with doubles,its more secure and safer. Just a quick poll, which colours are popular or on their wishlist??

Breaking the top off one of my single strap traps this morning has facilitated an increased importance in finding a set of double straps. Where can I get them from that isn't Cavendish or Holloway cycles or Brick Lane Bikes, who are all out of stock?

Also, which are the favoured brands or types?

brixton cycles? they sometimes have toshi, MKS Fit-A and Kashimax. not cheap as you'll know but go for it.
