I come from a bmx/mtb kinda backgrounf so I was certainly not accustomed to them. Dont know any other road bike users either so not influenced.
But, yeah drops! Come to love them, the drop position really helps get the most power out when standing. and its nice to switch between the two top hand positions for normal riding.
Like I . I and . if you know what I mean? flat hand & sideways hands on the tops.
If its a bike with drop brake levers, you get to use the hoods too.
but you can have the same position with drops?
