that's good to hear you are pleased with the frame.
I very nearly bought one, the unsual seat tube size and erratic threading did put me off a little but the beer can seems a good work round.

The steel is completely shit quality, the BB threads are useless, it's heavy as fuck... Still makes me smile tho'... :)

Well, the steel is indeed of a somewhat bad quality, the BB threads however on mine aren't that bad at all. (i guess) I do agree it's a tad heavy , but i kinda like it that way. Got the same with my bmx, i could make it as light as about 8,5 / 9 kg, but i wouldn't feel comfortable riding street on a light bike like that. I don't see me 360'ing stairs with a bmx as light as that..
The Sparton feels good the way it is, to me that is. -

Just in case anyone is still interested, Having just bought TS's old Sparton and while it's stripped bare, it weighs in at 3245g frame and forks plus a shitload of stickers (which kinda have to stay.)
