It wasn't a hard hit(s). It was at a red light (hence the extended yelling match).
Also, most of the impact was absorbed by his number plate (and I might've been heavier than his car, yes haha murtle :P).
Plus the Soma is 36h CXP33 on Phils which have already proven themselves taking out at least one cockflange on an MTB. If it was at speed I would've hit the deck and police would've been called.
