  • that's the risk you take dealing with overseas ebay, don't know what else you expect?!?

An auction to run through according to ebay rules without sellers being cunts would be a nice start.

  • I had a similar situation (seller non-responsive). Given no money has changed hands and he's a new seller there's not much they can do, but at least they can give him a bit of a slap with a wet bus ticket (close his account) for breaking the rules.

    check out the process here:
    http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/policies/seller-non-performance.html

For a guideline on the timetable eBay suggests transactions should follow:

Of course if eBay doesn't take any action you should at least leave him some bad feedback.

  • make him a reasonable offer, and ask him to do a BIN option so it's offical. if he declines, report him. you've been totally reasonable with him. he should have listed in correctly with a reserve in the first place.

as i said here. it says post to france. he is not in france.

stop being a girl and get on with it. not even a decent bike.

  • PM me his email address, let's see if we can find anything about him...

  • unless you have handed over cash he isn't obliged to complete the sale (and neither are you). If you paid via card, he can refund and cancel the sale without reason.

The contract to complete a sale doesn't exist until the seller accepts cash into his hand - whatever eBay rules say.

  • This can also be useful as a buyer if the seller turns dodgy or you turn up to collect and the bike is a rust pile. You can walk away without buying a piece of shit.

  • TBH i would just let it go, you aint lost any money so just forget about it and move on, there is loads of anoying things happen on ebay you just gotta live with it, something else will come along. Anyway it might be a blessing in disguise you will look a right knob if he sells it to you and it turns out to be a bag of shit.

I remember when i watched an item for 7 days straight, constantly popping back to my PC to check how the item was doing ( I really wanted it) 3 hours before the end of the auction the twat ended it early....Now thats a cunt (Hippy)
