who said anything about anyone being breakeless? he/she said singlespeed, thus implying breaks.

not stopping for a crowded ped crossing is shit, but kicking someone off their bike doesn't make it any better does it? 2 rights don't make a wrong etc etc. if anyone ever kicked me off my bike, for ANY REASON, whether i was in the wrong or not, would find me returning the violent favour (provided i was still alive, innit).

I had that with a woman on the road and her buggy she just pushed straight it out onto the road right in front of me. I hit it full pelt went flying and landed on the otherside of the buggy with my bike further away. First thought was oh no I've just killed a baby then everyone came running round me asking if I was OK including the Mum. Don't think the baby had even woken up and she had still left it on the road to see that I was OK, I think I'd done quite an impressive somersault flip over the buggy onto my back!

If you ever go down on me when I am with my kids, even if it's pedestrian, I will be cross; but hard.

I have a friend who seems to have a pathological hatred of cyclists. He tells me that he ALWAYS tries to kick, punch or lanunch some form of attack on any cyclist who goes through a red light while he is crossing. He is a tough guy, 6th Dan Ninja or something so if you see him, avoid him. We have many arguments about his feelings. Hes a great bloke though

^^ Yep you are completely right. He is completely non-violent and he would always walk away from any sign of trouble, like any sensible person would. He just has a pathological hatred of them. He basically thinks all cyclists are scum bags who should be forced to obey every traffic law. And if a cyclist goes through a red while he is on it, he feels he is within his rights to knock him off!
