There's nothing secret about the way Cadel's face has been crushed.

try bending over, pulling your pants down, and sucking on a helium balloon before reading it - it'll be like cadel is in the room with you!
sniggered.

steve peat and the athertons don't ride the tour...

Eurosport do the downhill, xc world cups and other random mtb events like Crocodile trophy and some Red Bull and enduro stuff.

Why is Evans such a singularly unattractive cyclist? On many levels it would be nice to have a non Continental European, non American winner, but Evans is so dull.

jens voigt rocks. almost a shame he promised not to go for any stupid breakaways.

Yeah, much better to have a coked up, crack smoking suicide like Pantani..
I'm sorry, this year's Tour is SOOOO much better than 7 years of Lance winning and every potential leader bailing from the Tour as a drug cheat.
Come on Aussie!

At least Pantani was interesting on the course, too.
This tour is good, although that's despite Evans, rather than because of. I reckon the odds are pretty decent that he'll get to Paris in yellow without having won a stage.

Stage 16 Tuesday July 22nd - Cuneo to Jausiers
Stage 17 Wednesday July 23rd - Embrun to Alpe d'Huezfrom andyp's original thread about pubs showing the tour - am taking the afternoon off to watch these two stages. Offside Bar on city road .
Andy - hope to see you there dude. and hope some of you others might catch a bit of the old Tour Flu and get yourselves down there for some medicinal Gs.

Weren't people saying this sort of stuff at exactly this point in the race last year?

Dunno.. I can't remember last week let alone last year.

I'll remind you. There was a cheating USSRman, a cheating Danishman, a cheating Italianman (with probably several others), and a squeeky voiced bum faced Aussie.
lol
