Lock? Just take your bike everywhere. How do you think roadies and audaxers manage?
Lie it down out of sight, or take the front wheel with you, or wind the brake fully on and leave the wheel overhanging the front door a little so you can watch it or.. loads of options. I've just wheeled mine into shops before. I don't give a fuck.. if they give me grief I'll spend my hard-earned elsewhere.
