just had a tinker and an M5 nut fits poifectly, i've got loads, will bring you a couple. Only thing is though, the original nut has that plastic thread grip in it so to use a regular nut you'll need a dab of thread lock or a wee bit of plumbers' tape to stop it undoing itself.
