  • Was it an orang-utan that was riding it?

  • In fact it was ridden surprisingly efficiently by a lovely lady with back trouble. (A sensible answer because I can't find any pictures of Orang-Utans on bikes on this occasion).

  • You've made me feel like a git now! Ah well, I'll live with it.

  • ;224144']I'd say it definitely looks too small.

    defo, i thought the same.

  • You've made me feel like a git now! Ah well, I'll live with it.

Don't worry - we thought the same as you when we saw the bike, before we saw it being ridden. Made my back though hurt to even think about riding it. Maybe we've all got it wrong.

  • you could get the measurements from your old bike (saddle height, saddle-handlebar reach) and see if you can replicate it on the Thorn by moving the saddle right back and up, changing to a longer stem, raising the stem etc. It looks like a 54cm frame though, and would still be really twitchy

  • Sparky mate that looks too small... :(

  • I concur. It's found a new home in Holland already, but it's a real shame. I now have 4 weeks before I go on a 16 day touring holiday, and I don't have a tourer.

  • Plenty of time I reckon...

I wouldn't like to tour on something for 16 days which would ruin my back.
