apart from the obvious differences between folding and rigid, (convenience, weight etc) are there any real benefits one has over the other? Only ask as I've only ever used rigid bead tyres. Can't help but be wary that a folding bead might succumb to the higher pressures and pop off the wheel but that's probably nonsense.
