I think no and no, but I am not sure, find RPMs orginal post for more detail as I -> bought cranks -> placed cranks in box, and have not done anything else with them.

I seem to think they are 170 and 135 bcd

170 and 144 bcd in fact, and with partially stripped extraction thread on the left arm, but they will serve my purpose.

they came off perfectly with a crank extractor, though there's no guessing what kind of life they've had. I knew they were tatty, hence £20

moth, before ordering a 144BCD chainring, i think they are definitely 135BCD for miche cranks of that age. i have a set + 2 rings i can testify.

only partially, and my extractor tool seems to still get plenty of grip, so i don't mind, just pleased to finally have some cranks after loosing many ebay auctions.

my calipers say 144 (84.6 c-c), which surprised me too.
