Does anyone know if there's any truth in the story of Ali chucking his Olympic medal in The Hudson after he was refused service in a diner? It's a well known story but could have been part of the Ali hype-machine.

More likely than not in my opinion. The medal has not re-surfaced (no punn).

I prefer to believe it, anyway
