Stealth death bike (with the ovalised seat tube, seen here in transitional/pre-full stealth mode) is well on the way, decided to buy a cheap 26.0mm post, chuck it in and see what happened... Only managed to get it in about two inches before the seat tube said 'Ouch, no more pole big boy!'... I was gonna cut it down anyway, as you can see it's stupid long, and then ride it as is ghetto-style with only two inches of post in the tube... Thoughts? Am I nuts? The thing ain't budging so I figure it'll be safe enough... Or reckon I should do the right thing and get it fixed proper? i.e. Make the seat lug/tube round again, braze and ream out to 26.0mm if necessary... The frame only cost me £75 so I don't wanna chuck any wedge at it... I just wanna ride this sucka!
