I been through Dalston to a night with no name
It felt good to get out of the rain -

I'm definitely up for this, and could come along this evening if it's dry and we can decide on a spot.
by the way, are SPD pedals ruled out for trickery? most of the cool cats seem to have toe clips and straps?
also, I'm currently running 48x16 (which the bike came with) should I go pick up an 18 tooth cog or something?

Clips n straps are better for tricks n stuff as you can use the underside of the pedal and bail easier when learning stuff.
And yeah get at least an 18t cog, the bigger the cog you get the easier youll find it to skid, wheelie, pop your front wheel up n stuff.

there is a few little banks in london fields by the ping pong table
yup thats a good spot...just at the entrance by the top of Broadway market. Surface isnt that good for skidding mind you but then there are the paths in london fields right next to it so it could work.

How about we just refer to it as the "night with no name".

Such a hollow threat. I've been trying to kill that bike for three years. Steamrollers are indestructable (that's why I'm turning it into my fixed cross country bike) -

This sounds good, ill try make it.
I think once it gets a bit more established and people are more confident it should be something which isn't tied down to one place. Riding around finding little areas, banks, etc to ride will keep it fresh and way more fun and people will also progress more.

yeah but once people have the basics
so add your name to the list, just when people already see a few the list will grow a lot faster

I'd like to do this.
I think the carpark roof near Spitalfields market would be good and there are other levels covered if it rains. Great view from the top. I'm going to go there to take a pic tonight as I have just finished my new/old bike.

yeah, that parking garage would be perfect.

How about we just refer to it as the "night with no name".
