you sure PJ? maybe you missed the lesson that clearly explained the correct method for fitting the seat post.
Insert the post into the desired hole. if the hole fits give the bike a biscuit. if the fitting is in any way out, send a small electric charge to the bike. repeat this over a period of 2 to 3 months
