The spokes are made from some kind of carbon /kevlar mix and then the hub, spokes and rim are glued together (although I'm guessing it's a bit more complex than araliditing them all up in a big mess) to create a super light, super stiff wheel that tons of the pros ride, even though Lightweight doesn't sponsor anyone so they all have to buy their own.
