I did it for a bit in Edinburgh, you generally avoid the brutal hills but they have very low gears so you can get up most stuff. I suppose 600 a day is possible but only on a great day I only did it for 2 nights got 200 the first night which was meant to be a brilliant night and the next night I got nothing! This was a few years ago though, when Robbie Williams was playing at Murrayfeild they all made a killing but probably only 300 quid and this wasn't a regular wage. Jacked it in after that as it was killing me, working 9 in the evening till 5 in the morning at the weekends is brutal when I'd spent the whole week 9 to 5 as a courier. I also thought I would really like it as I loved being a courier but you cannot compare it, dealing with steaming people all night and its more like being in a car than on a bike, just harder work.
