On a similar note, I come across a lot of bikes through my work (recycling) that are decent but we (as a company) can't sell without incurring cost ourselves - and I don't like seeing them crushed and melted down. The recent thing that came up and was interesting got given away here (this Vitus) and any others that might ring the bell of folk here would likely go here too. But for the other stuff - low end mountain bikes, kids bikes, that sort of thing - are there any refurb charities, free bike schemes or whatever I could give them to? I've looked around in the past but haven't come across much.
