Got a pair of Mavics which are tubs - tubs are ok for summer, for winter clinchers can make your life easier.
All you need is to get that Tufo sealant glue... and carry a spare tub tyre, in case you get a puncture that can't be fixed (once happened with me in the middle of nowhere on the A3) :(
