i am thinking of spray painting my rims. would be nice to get them powder coated but would cost a fortune as it is a one off job.
if i were to spray paint, is car paint the best stuff to use or will metallic paint do? perhaps the compound in car paint is better so it will bind better and have more adhesive? do i need to apply a base coat?
any suggestions welcome. has anyone tried and tested either of the methods above?
