If the hub spins and the spokes aren't rusty, yep. I'll take it.

I'll check and see if a 27.2 is needed. I have a couple frames to collect that may need one. I'll let you know as soon as I do...

  • gotta longish 120cm x 1'' quill stem you can have

  • i think i still have the stock stem off my charge plug, i'll dig it out and bring to the party on sat with the tyres.

That would be a threadless stem right? All these bikes will be threaded/ quill stems. Thanks though!

  • Old 18th cog as well if you need. Or is that not big enough?

  • If I still have a 36t ring then yes it would be useful. I'll let you know.

its an ahead stem, nevermind - i will have a look through the bits box thought and see if I can find anything else that would be of use...do you need any brake calipers?

  • Brakes on loaner bikes are good! :)

  • dont make it too easy for them!

Sorry mate, passed right over you. 120 is actually a bit too long for polo, ultra short is best, I use something ridiculous like 50 or 60mm on my polo bike.

  • right sod ya!

    it's going on fleabay :)

  • i got an old quill stem without the bolt though. anygood?

  • which bolt? what kind? I have a few spares but wont' fit all stems.
    How long is the stem?

  • I'm off to devon in a week- theres a place, a horrid place, Called Trago Mills. I'd rather die than go there, but they do have Kenda super slick 700c x23 tyres for £2.50 and tubes for £1. thats it. if you want some, PM me.

  • Thanks for the offer to do something worse than death for me but tyres and tubes are just about covered.

Though you may want to post up a group buy on tubes? A quid a peice... wow!

  • Do not rubbish Trago Mills.

  • incidentally- how naff and old do you care about things being?

I have a few bits here that i could donate once i've built up a bike for a friend. Are old 5 speed rear wheels any use? at all? i have a few. and maybe a few front, and maybe some old drop bars. and thats about it.

Wheels are good as long as they spin not rusted to bits.
