• Hi I have a Dunelt (made by the Phillips family in Birmingham then became part of Raleigh in 1960. )I think this frame was made in the 50's. I bought it about 3 years ago when it had just been resprayed.
I built it up as a fixed but as with a few other older frames I have have come to the conclusion they are too big for me - a good 2 inches more than my contemporary frames. (I'm 5' 6 or 7)
It is a lovely looking frame with beautiful logs and transfers + original badge. The respray has faded slightly since i bought it but it still looks good.

The frame size is 23" 58cm

Can send pics. (how do i include them here?)

    Looking for £75

Sounds good! I private messaged you (at least i think thats what i did) with my email address, be awesome if you could send some pics of the frame through to me!!

yeh i spotted that too. what, for the love of god, has he machined his seat tube out for? surely on a steel frame thats just asking for some loverly invisible, structurally compromising rust?

anyhow, id go for something steel, something with TRACK dropouts ( old style horizontal road dropouts work, but its so much neater, and easier chain tension wise to go with proper track dropouts on your first fixed build). oh and 120mm spacing for your rear hub is useful as it is easier to find a decent track hub to fit.
if your buying new, id recomend the following: On One Pompino (a little heavy, but bombproof, and ill be selling one in the next few weeks if your interested!)
Genesis flyer, soma Rush, EAI Bareknuckle (the last one is like rocking horse shit tho). Id try not to be tempted by some of the popular fixed shops 'own brand' framesets, Brick lane bikes does a frame and fork for £117, but the steel used on these is probably submarine grade (having said that ive not seen one in the flesh, they could be great value!)

I would love a full track frame as, like you say, they look so much neater and simpler to set up... But i was under the impression that i'd be looking at spending a fair few quid more to get hold of one, over say and old road frame.

the BLB F&F sets are only £117??? I thought that they were more expensive than that, maybe i should look into one!!
