get a rucksack/backpack/daypack whatever you want to call it. There's a load of em about with special designs to ensure airflow between your back and the pack itself. My Vaude one (http://www.theoutdoorgearshop.co.uk/acatalog/Vaude_Triset_25___4_.html) does a great job.
