Used to be fairly common on Italian stuff like 3ttt and old Cinelli. Even Campag C-Record cranks used a 7mm auto-extractor, with a left hand thread...
It's not all that uncommon on some brands of car too. Google and you'll find plenty.

frenchies or whatever it's called on holloway road sell 7mm allen keys, if that's any help.
and yea, i had a cinelli stem with 7mm bolt. also, i had a bunch of different cinelli stems, all the same model but some which were rounded off, so was gonna just swap the bolt over but i had a bout three different bolt diameters so couldn't swap them over - another weird one. -

I think i have an old raleigh stem with a 7mm bolt, it could be a bolt from another stem though.

I had a 3ttt stem which came with the Raleigh.
Bought a 7mm key near Baker Street which was used once.
Don't need the key anymore.

cheers guys, nice one. Forms - are you getting rid of that bolt?
Anyone else come accross this? Seems to be something like a 7mm? Who the hell uses a 7mm allen bolts?
Now I need to find a shop that sells one :-(
