I was reading it in PDF format and I got a bit irritated by it. I'll have to get myself a paper copy.

There's a bloke on a 'PK RIPPER' in there and a Hutch Trickstar labelled frame. Do SE racing make Rippers in this size or have these blokes just labelled up their frames in homage to the old school BMX days? Everything is turning towards old school BMX - 5 spoked mags (like the skyway tuffs of old), mad coloured grips, frames, pads etc
All cool!

If I remember the article rightly, the PK Ripper was a Bianchi Pista Concept with a PK Ripper sticker...
yeah, the magazine is great, its nice to be looking at track bikes on paper as opposed to on the internet...well done to the makers!

That is one fine magazine.
What's the printed one like...? Is it 'properly' done if you see what I'm saying?

yeah it's nice... compact format, spined, nice inks on quite a heavy recycled(?) natural-tone stock

Sounds good... I'll order myself a copy since I'm out of London at the mo. Like Rusty, I can't read it on a screen.

Cheers for the kind words on the mag. It's been a lot of work, but we're pretty happy with how the first issue came out.
The mag is free because we wanted to make it that way. There will be an option to get a subscription or a single copy posted to you, but we have to charge as postage is a killer. The downloadable PDF is so you can still get it for free anywhere in the world.
Our copies seem to fly out of the shops as soon as they go in there. Brick Lane Bikes had 20 delivered one Sunday morning and we had to take them another 20 the next day.
We went with 100% recycled, unbleached paper, using vegetable oil inks and printed by a local cooperative printers. All these things cost more, but we think it's worth it.
Glad that you're enjoying the magazine. Thanks to everyone who came to the launch party and Velocity boy for all the support he's shown us.

Andy gave me a copy at Critical Mass, and it's gorgeous.
I think I prefer the pdf file though, the spreads look fantastic full screen and don't suffer from the fold/glue line down the centre. The colours seem richer on my stupidly large work monitors too. Very lush.
Lush, that's such a late-80's/early-90's thing to say isn't it?
