sorry to hijack the thread a bit - or at least turn the vessel to a slightly different course for a minute - but what's the raddest genuine person's name you've ever heard? Like, one you go, "ruddy nora, that's a good name"...almost shake their hand again just for having a good name...?

fair enough apple & mango are a little odd.
But April & June are very classic ladies names, as is May, August, Wednesday & Tuesday.
I wouldnt be surprised if names Julie and Jane are derived from July and January either.April seems to be a favourite among chinese girls, kitty is very common too!
I knew a girl named Apple, also a Sky, and a Summer Rain. all but Summer where American, summer was from the Bahamas
I also knew a Justice, but he was not a security gaurd

I used to work with a girl called Lovely Albequerque. She was from Goa.
I also have friends who called their kid Arlo 'Danger' Arrosmith - so when he grows up he can actually tell the girls his middle name is Danger. Brilliant.

Keith Gooze, Su Pu, Brian Wee, Richard Exact. These are real names.
But best name ever: I spoke to a PA once who worked down in Southampton or somewhere. I think she was Kenya or Nigeria, can't remember.
But anyway her name was Googoo Makubu. I was only arranging a meeting with her but spent about a minute wowing over her name and congratulating her.
