+1 To Conan
Royal mail bags are big but uncomfy and unstable but cheap. If you go this route diy a stabilisation strap.

You've got quite a range there - Royal Mail all the way to PAC!
Bagjacks have this weird soft, weaved cotton material on the corners of the bags, which frays really easily.
PACs are great, but expensive. I like mine.
Manhatten Portage bags aren't really designed for riding...+1 to the above about sweating. I sweat just as much with my PAC as I do with my Deuter bag with it's fancy airflow back 'technology'. The only way you won't get a sweaty back is with panniers.

well at the moment i'm riding with my DaKine snowboarding bag, which is great for snowboarding.....not so great for cycling, as it almost covers my whole back.
messenger bags seem to leave alot more breathing room on your back? -

messenger bags seem to leave alot more breathing room on your back?I ride with my dakine for much of the time, unless I have lots/ important stuff to take- when the archie comes out.
Scott's bags are ace, worth the wait.unhelpful answer number 75.

Get on the waiting list for a grobag, buy something shit in the meantime, get grobag, die happy.

Keep em peeled on here somewhere though as i know of an older 'Archie' that's for sale...:)
ahhhh, that will be me then.
Tis true, I have a black archie with a reflective strip that is hardly used which i was just talking to scott about selling. The bottom line is that I now don't have to carry half the stuff to work that I used to and as such the archie doesn't get used. I'll stick a proper post with photos and details in the next day or so( it is actually somewhere on the grobags thread if you want to look ).So if you want to get your hands on a hardly used grobag watch this space!

Scott is currently working on another bag (having just finished one earlier today). And he's also made a prototype of a new bag in the last week.
I'm now cracking the whip and withholding tea breaks so he can get his orders down.
[subliminal]I will also take bribes to ensure I convince him to make your bag magically move up the list...[Smallprint]This is in no way guaranteed to work[/Smallprint][/subliminal]
Looking for a half decent messenger style bag.......I'm starting to disslike my sweaty back.
Bagjack,
Pac,
Manhatten?
a royal mail postie bag would do.
will pay cold hard cash/sexytime.
Can anyone help me with dastardly prediciment?
