4 in the morning on the deserted banks of the sankey canel and river mersey. me and 2 geared friends travelling by the light you carry with you only. high speed buzzing of startled carp fishing fools as you wizz from point to point. amazing riding only beaten by the perfect ride the one where everything clicks into place your pace rises and you find yourself catching cars on climbs. sitting in the pub waiting for to go dark is fun too. :)
