Wheel builds: arup sen

  • Anyone ever used Arup sen in Sydenham for wheel builds? his website is
www.yogarup.com/wheels. Seems good value but have not heard any feed back of the quality. If anyone has, any advice/info/other people to try would be most appreciated.

  • Arup used to post on this forum. I think a few people have had wheels built by him, and i've heard no complaints.

  • Yep he's a gent and and will sort you out. Only herd positive things.

  • Arup built the wheels for my track bike and did a superb job - I'd definitely use him again.

  • also for me ...great guy, great service

  • apparently he's pretty good, knows his shizzle and does a decent job.

despite the thing about answering the door naked apart from a pair of ski googles and wellington boots..

  • had two sets of wheels built by him he does a great job very solid build no issues with either set of wheels after giving them a good pounding in day to day cycling

  • Yeah likewise. Built a rear wheel for me a year or so ago, still running true. No nudity involved...

  • They're not wellies they're flippers. Thoroughly covered in Linseed Oil. Cheers for the big up guys.
