Good to see some peeps at The Lamb!
@ Gabes: I gave that spoke card to a crusty currier at Tesco's in Brixton, the Mercian is back the way it should be... ;)
@ everyone: Noice one! -

it was fun, but a bit weird heading so far south, even if the natives did seem to appreciate it.
nice to see ed, tomasito, shinscar, gabes, lebowksi, ma3k, lucky 7, mikec, tommy, seb, clefty, others i forgot to mention. oh - and Dave K! what a turn up - i liked it when we led the ride down away from elephant. also nice to ride that roundabout without fearing death for a change.
i think people in central london, i.e tourists and drunk afterworkers, are more up for the spirit of CM and the sight of so may cyclists. once you deviate into the burbs it gets a bit fragmented and strange.

nice to meet ollie, clefty, stompy, and tommy. even if it was only briefly.

Good to see you all tonight, good turnout - southside kick was a little strange, but yes E&C with 200 cyclists going round it was a sight to behold! I actually found it less hostile than usual, more waves, friendly beeps and less irate taxi drivers. Taking over the Esso petrol station was hilairious. Southside rules! Pics to follow
I hung around for a little in brixton with Stompy, Tommy, Lucky7 and Fiddy14, (thanks for the beer) before riding further south with Damo - get thee down to South Beers young man! -

That was my first Critical Mass. Had a blast, saw some friends and made some new ones.
Will be at future events if possible. It was great fun to see people standing outside pubs looking confused, pedestrians trying to cross the road while a few hundred bikes went past looked terrified. The Esso staff did not have a clue what was happening - they even locked the doors and held their customers inside while everyone circled the forecourt.
I departed after dancing around at Buckingham Palace - not a sentence I would ever expect to have written!

shinscar you cock, eatin's cheatin'!
saying that, I'm home post Foundry and pished out of my head. Good night, critical mass was ok, not that fussed, i enjoyed the speedy ride up to the John Snow a lot more! and the further ride to the Foundtry was great too.
Shame on the dude who blagged an inner-tube and my tube changing skills, and Asda's Ed's pump action, offered us a drink, then just fucking rode off!!! WAC, anyway, you owe me a tube and a pint. AND , get some decent tyres dude, track tyres on the road = EPIC REPEATED FAIL
see you all sunday

Nice looking out guys.
Sainsbury's Ed, sorry we didn't hook up for the ride home - I blame the Red Stripe.
Too many of you to mention by name, but seriously "You da man".
Tommy, Dicky - did you see my warp speed traversal of Old Street roundabout. I think I'm def back on the horse.
