Rest assured this set-up is very strong and the number of spacers is only an aesthetic issue. That said, I am looking for other adapters that are shorter and would allow me to use fewer spacers. We'll see what I come up with.
The end result is something unique and very fun to ride. The bike is smooth and feels terrific. Honestly, I can't get enough Italian steel. Cunt

pengy (peng|:), adj,: completely rubbish, to the point of being almost breathtaking.

Jol, if you're on this with me I recks we need a rethink to accommodate these thoughts.
1) guysup - pengy is still great as it is not "peng" - but in pointing it out you've highlighted something
2) skeletonboy - flickwg consciously worked on his bike to be rather pengy before the term existed, therefore it's not true pengy culture - but in pointing it out you've highlighted something. That something is some sense of the aspirational, ie the manifest intent to bling something up coupled with the astonishing shortfall of their efforts in the final product no matter what got thrown at it in the process.
Therefore the original definition has to be revised a little bit to include these important subtleties.
