Seats... what a pain in the arse!

Hey i need a new seat, mine is so not nice to sit on :(
i went on the bridges bike ride last week and only just sitting
down properly.....

Generally..... what are nice seats to have????
spilt etc.

any help would VERY MUCH, well you'd be saving my ass

I use a Brooks B17 and a Charge Spoon - both are awesome

I tried 4 before I found something comfy
1-charge spoon
2-Brooks b17s
3- San Marco Rolls
4 - Charge Stool
5 - Selle ITalia Gel Flow - and relax...

I cant afford one, so i'm stuck with my standard charge spoon, which isn't too bad.

i know everyone's arse's are different...but i just go the worst sadle sore EVER!!

I just got me a charge spoon & some minty arse lard, so my cheeks are sweeeet.

Don't be afraid of narrow saddles. They may not be everyones cup of tea but many people discount them because they think they look uncomfortable. I have a small ish bum and like a narrow saddle and Jonny had child bearing hips (his words not mine) and he has a narrow saddle too. BMMF is just fat and I can't remember what saddle he has because it is obliterated by his bum.

yeah it depends on where your sit bones are!

you don't sit on the fat, you sit on the bony bits. get a saddle that supports them, and make sure the saddle is taking your weight, not the handlebars

ride on fizik ariones, they seem fine never had any saddle soreness issues with them, I use cycling shorts under jeans/shorts/whatever to make sure though.

i got a brooks b17 cut down like a swallow (thanks hassanr) and its pretty comfy, and getting ever comfier ;)

Specilized Avator. Get your arse measured for it with one of them pad things and get the right size. Very comfy.
Or any Specilized Body Gemotry saddles will do.
I have been on the Specilized Avator for over 5 hours and it was still comfy at the end. Did have well padded shorts on. Been on it in normal shorts for about 60, wasnt as comfy at the end but if your only doing short rides its a nice saddle.

honestly mate if you got a B17, you'd find the spoon to be a bit more on the comfort side.
