Freddie Grubb Road frameset...1950s?!
Another oldie, again not too sure on the age, but the headbadge suggests 1950s. Looks pretty darn similar, if not identical to this beauty...http://www.classiclightweights.co.uk/bikes/fgrubb-rb.html...dated 1955.
It has identical Nervex lugs...very pretty!
Not convinced that the paint is original, but at least it has the right sorta decals and original headbadge!! Overall, really, really nice condition.
Seat-tube 58 c-t / 56 c-c
Top-tube 57 c-c
Again, drilled front and rear
Genrous clearances, but it is meant for 27s
115mm rear, 95mm front spacing...could do a conversion?!
Includes threaded headset (not sure what it is?), i still have the original Bayliss Wiley cottered BB as well if desired?
**£150 ono**
Falcon Tange Ladies Mixte
Seat-tube 50 c-t

**£30 ono
**
Phew! That's it for now. Just message me for any more details, or if you wanna come look at any of the frames. They're all in North London at the mo, Manor House area...but it's possible i can bring any into central, and i emphasise possible, tis a bit of a blag!
Cheers for looking anyway...joy oh joy! -

-
• #13
Arghhh.. I want to make a sex on that Geoffrey Butler!
-
• #14
are you saying he's drunk?
no, he's in the workhouse. he's a pauper, beggin for a cheap frame. and he's going to get beaten by the beadles.
-
• #15
i know someone who may be interested in the sibbit!
-
• #16
the sibit is just all round noice
i love the track ends quack -

i know someone who may be interested in the sibbit!
Seems there's a couple of people interested in it, but no-one's coughed up yet ;P
I do have a set of (much more modern) round legged track forks i can do for an extra £20...i did have them fitted on, but the geometry is gonna be a little weird...will def get you on the road though.
After seeing PJ's Bob Jackson yesterday it seems that it probably would've had a headclip-type assembly going on there. Grahaminlondon has one on ebay for a meer £1,500!!! Yikes. -
• #18
the person interested would want drilled forks :(
-
• #19
The forks are drilled already...boss!! 6mm front and rear, so they may have to drill the rear to 8mm if they want a modern brake?! Oh, and they're metallic blue...not the best match, but certainly not the worst.
-
• #20
hold it 4 me, for the time being :) , just waiting to hear back.
-
• #21
Cool, well just let me know...it's at the warehouse in Manor House, so if they wanna come take a look that's cool?!
-

will you ship to Denmark
-
• #23
will you ship to Denmark
Yeah i guess i could...which frame are you interested in?
-
• #24
That Geoff was mine. With t' wheels on it's nice and tight but with no toe overlap. Wish I could keep it but I need to sell to buy a dour old grumpy man's bike. Will consider swap for beautiful lugged BIG tourer or road frame; Jack Taylor or such ;)
-
• #25
very interested in the Geoff but will have to check if it isn't slightly too big for me. does any one know where I can buy platform spd shoes?
first dibs if that's not too late. I PM'd you.

Jack Sibbit 531 Track...1940s?! (frame only)
Slightly strange one this. Not too sure of exact age, but Jack Sibbit died in 1950, so i'm guessing 1940s, but i could be wrong. Details of Sibbit here at classic lightweights...http://www.classiclightweights.co.uk/riders/sibbit.html
The main strange thing is that it has possibly the most early form of integrated headset, with cups as part of each end of the headtube. I'd managed to liberate some pieces from a couple of headsets to make something that works (i can provide these with the frame), but it might need some fiddling?!
Plus, it has the longest lug i've EVER seen! Underneath the headtube, from headtube...check pics.
A nice restoration project maybe? Or possibly a classy polo bike :)
And sorry, i don't have the forks.
Seat-tube 53.5 c-t / 51.5 c-c
Top-tube 55 c-c
Undrilled rear
110mm rear spacing
**£110 ono
**
