Jack Sibbit 531 Track...1940s?! (frame only)
Slightly strange one this. Not too sure of exact age, but Jack Sibbit died in 1950, so i'm guessing 1940s, but i could be wrong. Details of Sibbit here at classic lightweights...http://www.classiclightweights.co.uk/riders/sibbit.html
The main strange thing is that it has possibly the most early form of integrated headset, with cups as part of each end of the headtube. I'd managed to liberate some pieces from a couple of headsets to make something that works (i can provide these with the frame), but it might need some fiddling?!
Plus, it has the longest lug i've EVER seen! Underneath the headtube, from headtube...check pics.
A nice restoration project maybe? Or possibly a classy polo bike :)
And sorry, i don't have the forks.[INDENT]Seat-tube 53.5 c-t / 51.5 c-c
Top-tube 55 c-c
Undrilled rear
110mm rear spacing
**£110 ono
