titanium gives u advantage when used in larger parts where a lot of flexing is expected e.g plane wings... BB is only what, say 6 inches or something so the flex is irrelevant IMO.
Basically there is no flex.
Advantage only is no rust, but disadvantage is that titanium is softer, therefore threads more susceptible to shearing.
