well, i'm looking for a 700c wheelset. Kiwi cycles do a budget wheelset for £75 http://www.kiwicycles.com/wheels.htm however they could take 2 weeks. theres a few ok wheels on ebay, but i'm a bit suspicious of ebay listing if they dont say whether the wheels are 'true' or not... and some say 'used for 12 months'- which could mean anything from a sunday ride to daily courier work, who knows.
but basically i just need a good strong set of wheels for my ss project. i bought an old 10 speed raliegh flyer, good frame, the wheels are rubbish so i'm just wanting to replace the wheels, add a freewheel ss cog and new cranket.
i'd love to do the wheel build night, sounds excellent, however my in-laws are in town from Oz so i have to trawl around the tourist traps all weekend...
