spocalc.xlschecked these and they are wrongthe hole width is 67mm,

dt swiss askes for pitch circle diameter which Sheldon told me has to do with cogs? i downloaded one for make and they have 3 that all seem like it could be the one, but none of them are seem right either.

I plugged these into spocalc in manual mode (just over type values in relevant boxes and recalc) and it worked fine for lacing to CXP33.
67mm spoke hole diameter and 29mm+29mm centre to flange each side, rim ERD 598mm 36 hole 3 cross gave me 283.9mm

thanks... i feel like a mupet but i spent about an hour with a ruller and string trying to figure out the mesurments. im buying calipers tomorrow. maybe

phils are a similar size to goldtecs, both are fractionally big than a system-x/ambrosia/zenith

while we're on the subject, does anyone have recommendations on spokes and nipples (and where to get them) for my first build? I've got front hub, rim, spoke length, and jobst brandt for a manual. Not in any hurry.

dt swiss double
butterbutted spokes and brass nipples will sort you out. look on lineedit i do that every fucking time!

Dogs, thanks for your help earlier on with spoke-lengths. I just popped into Cavedish and they gave me 288mm spokes for Phils on CXP 33s, which is 6-8mm off what you suggested. Will that be OK, or does it have to be spot on?

a little help please? 32h V's on phils, ideally 2x front, 3x rear. what length? every spoke calc i use gives me a different length!!! nnngh!
