I would guess that 90% of fixed gears nicked in London are from that part of town because 95% of fixed gear bikes in London live down there, rather than because it is a crime hotspot. Shitloads of MTB's and road bike disappear daily round here (Fulham).
Anyway i'm a posh boy from west London so i get a rash if i venture anywhere east of Buckingham Palace .
