I've been thinking of compiling a similar montage of motorists using mobile phones whilst driving.

but it's dangerous to wave a camera around whilst driving, or riding.

and the police won't act on it, even if you have video of someone breaking the law, with the reg. number, they won't prosecute.

The first video does remind me of a user on the old Cycling Plus forum, some daft Scotch bloke who videoed every commute he took. Every time he had an altercation with another road user he took great delight in telling them that they were on camera (plus every fifth word was 'Cyclecraft').

Well, one video was him telling some bloke that cycling on the pavements was for 5 year olds, cue this bloke squaring up to our videoing friend and threatening to punch his lights out. Classic YouTube.

Sadly that video is no more, but he does still have several up there. Search for a user on YouTube called Magnatom.

Ha-ha! Just searched for him and found a local news story about his antics!

LOL! No. I was just answering some comments on my videos and on the stats for one of them it showed that someone from here had clicked on one of my videos. Curiousity led me here.

I just find it amusing that folk think I am a nutter when they don't really know me. Of course none of this compares to the death threats that I had received in the past! :-o

P.S. Sam I still have that video of the pavement cycling guy. I agree it was a classic. So how much would people pay for me to repost it... my paypal account can be found...... ;-)

With the 2 vids posted here (hippy's doesn't count) you've got a perfect illustration of how Cyclists fit with Drivers and Pedestrians, and are hated on occasions by both. We're just seen as borrowing from both their space.

I blame cycle-lanes... they're like road aparthied!
