Those cranks are terrible.
I had a pair - fine when I was singlespeed but when I went fixed the left crank arm worked loose. Totally screwed the splines on spindle.
Square taper has been around for so long for a reason. It's good.
Edit: On the plus side, it's got a good saddle. Well, I find it comfy anyway. Your mileage will vary.
