i found a site in germany that sells sapims. even with the shipping to the uk they still work out cheaper than buying them in the uk. let me try and find it again...

You've got me. The hubs are an investment though, so will be cheaper in the long-run. That's how I'm going to justify it anyway...

ha!ha! yeah I find it all amusing this stuff as thankfully I just can't afford to get ideas above my station at the moment - in awe of the dudes who only ever go for high end parts.. me I'll start spending when I ride 200 miles a week and don't fall off :)

think i'm gonna go for on one/formula on deep v (rear only). i've yet to work out how long the spokes would need to be.
i guess we'd save on the shipping costs, which probably makes a bit of a difference from germany.

high flange 3x on open pro 290-292.
high-flange radial on deep-v 260.

i'd order 260, 280, 290. will cover 90% of bases with high flange track hubs

i used black deep v's laced to dia compe gran compe hubs useing dt swiss super comp spokes

Sorry to wade in. I'm also doing the wheel-building class, but I don't know what length spokes I need. I've ordered Phil high-flange hubs and CXP33 rims.

Do any of you know which lengths I need?
