I've got a mid 90s lugged steel De Rosa with a 58 cm c-to-c seat tube and a 57 cm c-to-c top tube that might be suitable.
There's one problem - it had a stuck seat post and I this has caused some internal rusting. There is a small hole on the rear of the seat tube and some bubbles in the paint on the front of the seat tube which may also become holes over time. I think someone like Mercian would charge £80 to put a new seat tube in and a respray would be £100 quid or so.
If you're interested I'd price it to reflect the condition.

My boss is selling a 1984 Raleigh something. Good nick (I think), original gears, etc. 531.
Give me a shout (PM) if you think you might be interested. I've got a photo on my work computer that I could e-mail across tomorrow.

I'm really just after a frame, as I have more bike parts than I know what to do with (hence the project).
But if you could send me over a pic, a spot of bicycular readers' wives always makes a Thursday go faster…My boss is selling a 1984 Raleigh something. Good nick (I think), original gears, etc. 531.

Hmmm. Aside from the hole and bubble, that's damn sexy.
I was really after something that I could ride pretty much straight off though (as my original frame is much too small for me and I have everything sitting in a pile to get it on the road). How bad is that damage, and what are the effects likely to be?
So I was eagerly tinkering away on my Project Puppy Resurrection, and came upon a small hiccup.
I'm not asking for too much am I?
Please, somebody help me out here! Before my girlfriend insists that the Project is doomed to failure and starts insisting that the growing parts bin goes in the, well, bin… :(
In advance, thank you. Thank you thank you thank you. And please.
