i've been watching recumbents with interest for some time with the thought to building one for the fun of it (bit like my single speed was build because i could and so will my fixed be when i get the chance)
have a look at barchetta and slyway they have some very nice and very simple short wheel based high racers which could be fun on the streets of london.
(now i wait for the troll comments i have introduced myself honest)
