I've got an old shimano 500 one that came off of a 5-speed.
Although... the gears didn't shift well while it was a 5-speed, which is why it's now fixed (wheel), so this derailleur may be rubbish.

Hello,
I picked up an old coventry eagle and im trying to do justice to the nice frame that it is.
is a 5 speed bike, circa 1970 I think, has 27 1 1/4 steel wheels.
I have no funds to spend on it really, and in fact i picked up the whole bike for £10 in pretty nice riding condition.
But its got a lot of tat parts on it that I feel the need to switch.
Especially the shimano SIS derailieur, and the saddle.
Would be greatly appreciattive of any vintage looking rear mech, to work on a 5 speed freewheel.
ta very much.
