Hit by white van pulling out of St John's Villas.

Could have been a lot worse: self and wheels-of-steel suffering road rash and personal annoyance only.

Police had no interest whatsofuckinever.

Bad luck - typical police response, though they're not much better when things like teenagers getting stabbed to death happens round there.

I got chased down the road by a crack-head during the rush hour once, starting from that junction. Can you believe he actually kept running and threatening to kill me almost as far as the Odeon? Every time I slowed up, when he was starting to give up, he accelerated again.

It's powerful stuff, that crack is.
