No, judging from the chips, and mess at the ends, on mine, anyway

why on earth would you think that theyd be chrome under the paint?
thats like kids who think theres sweets in a power outlet, or something...
Chroming is an expensive process, why would they do it and then not show it?
Its a cheap mass produced bike, they cant afford to stick in surprises like that.

i didnt think they would do it, it was just a query on my mind which i soon found the answer to.
i was also wondering if my hair would have an effect on my speed in a race?
